Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CulinaryMix handles personal information when people browse, create accounts, buy or sell recipes, contact support, receive payouts or use marketplace tools.

Information we collect

We collect information people provide directly, including account identity, display name, email address, phone country code and number, country preference, profile image, recipe listings, reviews, support messages and seller payout-status information.

When a customer makes a payment, the approved payment provider processes sensitive payment credentials. CulinaryMix receives transaction references, amount, currency and status, but is not intended to receive or store complete card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or banking passwords.

  • Account, profile and marketplace-role information
  • Recipe, review, promotion and support content
  • Purchase, subscription, commission and payout records
  • Country, language and location preferences
  • Consent-based page path, country code, device category, referral host, campaign source/medium/name and advertising click-source type
  • Employer job listings and candidate applications, including contact details, experience, cover letters and optional portfolio links
  • Franchise listings, investment enquiries, business contact details, lead status and verified success-commission records
02

How information is used

Information is used to operate the marketplace, authenticate users, deliver purchases, publish creator profiles, calculate genuine earnings, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud, respond to support requests and improve reliability.

Candidate application information is shown only to the signed-in employer account that owns the relevant vacancy and to authorised administrators where needed for safety, support or legal compliance. Application status updates are returned to the candidate account.

A prospective franchisee’s enquiry, phone number, location, budget and message are shown only to the seller account that owns the selected franchise listing and to authorised administrators where needed for safety, support, payment or legal compliance.

If a visitor permits location access, location information is used to provide country-relevant discovery and pricing. Visitors can deny permission and choose a country or Worldwide manually.

After optional measurement is accepted, CulinaryMix records the visited page, broad device category, referral host, country code and recognised UTM campaign values for owner-only traffic reports. It records only the type of a recognised advertising click identifier—not the identifier value itself—so paid and organic traffic can be separated. The analytics event does not store a visitor email address or raw IP address.

03

Service providers and sharing

CulinaryMix shares only the information reasonably needed for providers to perform services such as hosting, authentication, database and image storage, security checks, payments, payouts, email delivery, analytics and—after activation—advertising.

Public seller profiles, published recipes and genuine reviews are visible to marketplace visitors. Private account and payment information is not sold as a standalone product.

04

Advertising and Google services

CulinaryMix may use Google AdSense after the site and publisher account are approved. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, device information and activity data to deliver, limit, personalise and measure advertising, subject to the visitor’s choices and applicable law.

Advertising code is not activated merely because this policy exists. Before serving ads where consent is required, CulinaryMix will use the relevant consent controls, including a Google-certified consent management platform for applicable traffic in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

  • Visitors can choose optional cookies where the site offers that control.
  • Advertising preferences can also be managed through Google’s advertising settings.
  • Sponsored recipes and third-party advertisements must be clearly distinguishable from ordinary marketplace content.
05

Retention and security

Records are retained for as long as needed to provide services, meet financial or legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Retention periods can differ by record type.

CulinaryMix uses access controls, server-side permissions, secure environment variables, bot protection and approved payment-provider checkouts. No internet service can promise absolute security, so users should protect their sign-in account and report suspicious activity promptly.

06

Your choices and rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing and to withdraw consent. Some transaction or safety records may need to be retained where law permits or requires.

Use the contact page to make a privacy request. CulinaryMix may need to verify the requester’s identity before acting on an account-specific request.

07

Children, international use and changes

CulinaryMix is not directed to children under 13, and sellers or people entering payment agreements must have legal capacity under applicable law. Information may be processed in countries where service providers operate, with safeguards applied as required.

This policy may be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
